When Moses first read the Ten Commandments on the tablet, I am pretty sure he thought “Wow Cool, maybe this will help stop the cruelty and viciousness in our lives!”
Then hundreds of people wrote about it.
Then Jesus came to teach people, including by his behavior, how to live by those Commandments.
Then maybe thousands of people wrote about it.
Now it is 2025 and billions of people know the name Jesus and billions of people have read the Ten Commandments. And billions of people live and have tried to live their lives being at least objective, reasonable and rational.
The founding of the United States.
Lucky for us all the attempted baseline for growth of the United States was to be honesty, fairness and brotherhood. And the few politicians who understood that knew it was the only path to building a great nation for all people and to block fascism, they stood firm and made it so.
So, with personal and national integrity Americans got busy and the middle managers, boots on the ground managers and our great people built a nation.
Whatever you choose to believe in, please do not forget the positive impact Christianity has had on the lives of many billions of lives.
(The horrible cost was not of true Christianity; it was usually individual blind arrogance and covetousness that caused the horrors.)
