Whether I was one of the lucky ones or just born faithful. I seemed to know what Jesus was trying to say right away. Of course, as time went on and I studied them more the value of the meanings expanded. Add to that the wisdom of experience and time, the worth expanded even more.
Which is why the value of God and the Bible to people was always at the top of the list in my work.
Including the fact that over 50 years ago even Billy Graham seemed perplexed when he noticed and mentioned on stage that people were leaving the church but were not leaving faith and Jesus or Christianity. Choosing instead to worship in private homes with their friends rather than at a church.
Turns out there are solid reasons for that.

But the point now is to hope and pray that the faithful have a great Christmas not only in our great country but all over the world.
Including warmly meeting others for brotherhood, great meals and joyously sharing gifts with friends and family.
Hopefully remembering all the while that the words of Jesus created and still create hope, love, kindness and a reason for billions to be faithful.
